still in touch

ok, so after last week's big disappointment, i'm surprised to say that we're still in touch. despite my post, my reply to P. was understanding and easy-going and he emailed straight back. we've been in touch all week. mostly about books we're going to swap when he's done reading the series he's in the middle of. he also informed me, although this was unnecessary, that he couldn't make the next drinks due to a prior engagement. i don't know that this is taking us anywhere other than becoming friends but it's nice.
