perfect timing

had just sent off an email to a dear friend of mine in the States, and what perfect timing that was! he got the email, was online, thought i'd probably be on Skype and called me. it was great. we hadn't actually talked since we'd last met up in Japan nearly more than 3 years ago. it was great to catch up (especially as he's now the father of a cute 4-month-old baby), and to see him too. unfortunately, while my webcam works, Skype doesn't seem to recognise it anymore, so he couldn't see me, but what the hell. we spent over an hour talking about everything - it was so much fun!
