Irish weather

so there i was, fully prepared for rain and wind - although only a couple of days away from May, i knew there was never really a dry day in Ireland, but i certainly didn't expect hail and sleet! that said, the unseasonably cold weather in Europe last week should have been a hint - i had, after all, packed winter clothes, including gloves, a hat and a thick woolen scarf. still, there i was, at the Halfpenny bridge, taking pictures of my friend in the snow, and it was a surprise.
