Friday the 13th

was a great day! it started with the cute bus guy sitting next to me. i was going to start a conversation with him but he turned on his laptop so i gave up on that. very stupid. i mean, when are we going to sit next to each other again? i very randomly saw him again in a tram in the evening but he was talking to a girl he obviously knew. yes, i could have gone up to him to say hello but let's face it, humiliation (possibly mine) is better when there's no one around to witness it. at least in my bus, there's no one around who 'knows' either of us.

anyway, i had taken the afternoon off to spend time with K, who was visiting from Japan. we had lunch in the most expensive restaurant in town (she always takes me to the most amazing places in Tokyo so this was the best i could do), which wasn't as good as the price led me to believe. i've had much better meat in the local kitchen. still, it was nice and she enjoyed it. once i'd taken her to the airport for her flight to France, i had my weekly improv session, where i was on fire. it helps when there are good people to perform with! and that was it, a great Friday the 13th!
