coincidence?

when i got to my dad's place, his girlfriend and her daughter had just left for a week over in eastern France. they would only be back after my departure. why? was she avoiding me again? i mean, i'd booked the flights back in Feb, it's not like it was a last minute thing that they couldn't work themselves around... oh well, on the plus side, my sister is also here so it's just the 3 of us, which is really nice.
