not a pool queen after all

a girls' pool tournament was organised for us who don't take it as seriously as the guys. and it was fun! there were four groups of four and whoever won the most games there went on to the semi-final, etc. i hadn't played pool in well over a month and my foot injury had thwarted my Wednesday practice plans... i had about 5 mns practice before actually playing. the practice was great, the first game a disaster. the second game, whilst a little better, i still lost, and the third, where i really got into gear, was against the strongest in the group, so that was me out...

nonetheless, it was great. such a contrast from the guys' tournament, where everyone is so serious and people get really pissed off for having missed a shot. we were all kind of helping our adversaries play if they had no clue. i'm glad i went!
