so after months of random and then less random pain, i finally decided that my shiatsu practitioner was the fix-it guy. and after the first of three sessions (he says he can fix me in three sessions, which sounds a bit dubious but he does seem to be doing his best), he said i shouldn't do any sport during the 'treatment'. not the best thing to say to me right now, as i spend most of my days sitting down and since May, a lot of my non-working time sitting down - studying. therefore, the sport aspect is really quite important.
so how did he convince me? he started explaining that i didn't really need sports - for a short space of time. he said lots of things but let's face it, the only thing i recall is him saying that my abs didn't need any work. that did it for me. i was totally onboard with not exercising for a few weeks. sweet.
