back in the saddle again

i was barely back from my well-earned two-week break that i pulled a ten-hour day. generally, i work more along the lines of 6.5 hours when i'm not teaching, so it was a bit of a shock to the system, especially as most of that time was at a client's. i was doing oral placement tests, which is already a lot for the brain to handle, but i ended up staying an extra two hours with my contact there, to discuss how best to handle the coming year. it was a very important impromptu meeting, so it was good i was there, but i must admit i was glad to go home!
