meeting my aunt

apart from hanging out with the cousins, i got to spend quite a lot of time with my aunt. as a kid, that wasn't my first priority, and every time we've seen each other since, it was of course more fun to spend time with D&L. but through our time together, i got to know her a little better. and she's great. she reminds me of L., my grandmother's sister, whom i got on with so well. she's funny and doesn't take things too seriously. we went on a long walk, where i admittedly hijacked most of the conversation, but it was still great. i think i'll talk to her a lot more from now on.
