the date
so, after a lot of emailing back and forth, i ended up meeting H tonight. i was really tired from work, and i'd warned him the timing was pretty awful, but we agreed just to meet up for a quick drink. so we ended up at la Terrasse, by the lake, which was nice cos i hadn't been there in ages.
we talked. first mostly me (answering his questions), then him, then both of us. it was nice. he's interesting. but when i'd been there an hour, i also wanted to go home. and the fleeting attraction i'd felt for him at the drinks last week wasn't there. hm... i don't know. i'd like to give him a chance, especially as he's N.'s friend, but i can't see this going anywhere. which is a real shame cos as i said, he's really nice, and tall, and not bad looking at all, and interesting. what am i doing wrong?

Oh, Jiminy Cricket! Go out with this guy again, PLEASE! Pretty please with le sucre on top? One brief meeting and another brief drinks is not enough to know if it could pan out to ANYthing - friendship, relationship, 40th wedding anniversary, etc. At least IMHO.
Don't sabotage this ship before it even leaves the dock - spark or no spark.
lol ;) well, you'll be pleased to know i did go on a second date with him. you can read up on it now. i'm still unsure, though. let me know what you think!
