sunrise

it was not yet 6am but i was awake. nature was calling. i couldn't put it off any longer, so i got up. on the way downstairs, i noticed the sun was just rising. i went upstairs again to get my camera and then outside to take pictures of the surrounding beauty. the low mist on the fields. the sun breaking through the trees. it was really amazing. so peaceful. the only noises came from the birds (including a very insistent woodpecker). the dew carpeted the grass, so that my feet got soaking wet, but it was well worth the bother...
