pancake day

i'm a week early, but i won't have time next Tuesday, so i decided to make pancakes tonight. i invited a few friends to share them, and 6 became 9, who became 8, then 6, then 5 (which happens when people have jobs with strange bosses). in the end, we were 4. it was really nice. we ate lots of pancakes smothered in either sugar & lemon juice, chocolate ice-cream, or rhubarb jam. and my friends got to see the new flat, which they were really eager to, seen as i've been talking about nothing else for months!
